Dr. Shihab Ahmed AlMashhadani

Dr. Shihab Ahmed AlMashhadani

Dr. Shihab AlMashhadani is a distinguished figure in the field of hematology known for his extensive contributions to medical education, clinical practice, and research. He held the position of Head of the Hematology Unit within the Department of Pathology at the College of Medicine, King Saud University Medical City. He also served as the Director of the Blood Bank at King Saud University Medical City for five years. Dr. AlMashhadani established the King Saud University Fellowship (KSUF) Program in Hematology and Blood Transfusion established the program that has since garnered recognition from esteemed institutions such as the Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath) in London, UK, and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia (RCPA). As the supervisor of this prestigious fellowship program, In 2018, he was honored with the Hematology Career Achievement Award by the Saudi Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation, recognizing his significant impact on the field at the national level. Dr. AlMashhadani was involved in the Blood Transfusion Committee, AIDS Prevention Committee, and several academic and research committees within the Faculty of Medicine at King Saud University. He is also an author, with over 100 published articles and books, and serves as a member of the Panel of Reviewers for esteemed medical journals such as the Annals of Saudi Medicine and the Saudi Medical Journal.

Dr. Khalid K. Al-Gergawi, Consultant of Prosthodontics and a Visiting Faculty Member in the Prosthodontics Department at Hamdan Bin Mohammed College of Dental Medicine (HBMCDM), part of Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) in Dubai, UAE, is dedicated to both patient care and education and brings a wealth of expertise to the field. With a distinguished career, Dr. Khalid K. Al-Gergawi previously held the position of Consultant and Head of the Prosthodontics Unit at Dubai Health Authority in the UAE. Dr. Al-Gergawi earned a Diploma in Prosthetic Dentistry and a Doctor of Science in Dental Biomaterials from Boston University's Goldman School of Dental Medicine in the USA. Complementing this, Dr. Al-Gergawi also holds a Diploma in Esthetic Dentistry from Tufts University's School of Dental Medicine, further solidifying expertise in comprehensive dental care. With a commitment to excellence in both clinical practice and academic instruction, Dr. Khalid K. Al-Gergawi continues to shape the landscape of prosthodontics, ensuring top-tier care for patients while imparting knowledge to future generations of dental professionals.

Prof. Mohamed Sherine Elattar

Prof. Mohamed Sherine Elattar is a distinguished figure in the field of Prosthodontics, renowned for his contributions to academia, research, and professional organizations. Currently serving as a Professor of Prosthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University, and an Clinical Associate Professor at the School of Dentistry, University of Pittsburgh, USA, he has left an indelible mark on the global dental community. Prof. Elattar embarked on his academic journey by obtaining his dental bachelor’s degree from the University of Alexandria in 1976. He furthered his education with a master's degree in Prosthodontics in 1980, also from the University of Alexandria, followed by another master's degree in 1984 from the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, USA. In 1987, he earned his Ph.D. from Alexandria University, Egypt, solidifying his expertise in the field. A visionary leader, Prof. Elattar founded and chairs the Alexandria Oral Implantology Association (AOIA), fostering collaboration and advancement in dental implantology. He also serves as an Ambassador for the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), USA, promoting excellence and innovation in oral implantology on a global scale. Prof. Elattar's scholarly pursuits include contributions as a chapter author in the book "Dental Implantation and Technology" published by Nova Publishers, USA, in 2009. Additionally, he authored the book "How to Become a Unique Dentist" published by VBW Publishers, USA, in 2012, showcasing his commitment to mentorship and professional development within the dental community. His research findings have been disseminated through publications in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and the Journal of Implant Dentistry, both in the USA, further solidifying his reputation as a thought leader in his field. Throughout his illustrious career, Prof. Elattar has demonstrated a dedication to education and leadership, having served as the Dean of Pharos Dental School in Alexandria, Egypt, for two years. He is a sought-after speaker, having presented extensively worldwide, with a particular focus on implant dentistry. Prof. Mohamed Daabiss is an esteemed Professor and Consultant of Anesthesia with extensive experience in medical education, research, and clinical practice. He holds a Medical Doctorate (M.D.) in Anesthesiology from Ain Shams University and a Master's Degree in Anesthesiology from Alexandria University. Additionally, he earned a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) and completed a program in Leadership and Management in Health from reputable institutions in the USA. Throughout his career, Prof. Daabiss has demonstrated leadership and expertise, serving as Head of the Anesthesia Department at Pharos University in Alexandria, Egypt. He has contributed significantly to medical research and quality improvement as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Anesthesia & Intensive Care Medicine and a Reviewer Board Member of the Indian Journal of Clinical Anaesthesia. Prof. Daabiss is an active member of various professional organizations, including the Central Egyptian Medical Syndicate, Saudi Society of Anaesthesia, and the American College of Healthcare Executives. With his dedication to advancing medical education and patient care, Prof. Mohamed Daabiss continues to make significant contributions to the field of anesthesia and healthcare leadership.
